A little insight into my most recent creative distractions
The past year has been full of wonderful life changes for me. Meanwhile, Oppi has been quietly finding a steady pace. Here's a little behind the scenes of what's been going on.
I call them my Oppi Companions:
The wonderful people who believe in the vision and offer invaluable support and wisdom to the story as it unfolds.
It started with shoes. But shoes do not stand still.
Every Oppi garment you buy gives to family-centred childcare; safe places Mozambican children can call home.
A little about me
I started Oppi in 2012 because I wanted to see if I could do what I love - sewing - and also help some of the children like those I'd met on my travels.
Starting a socially conscious business has led me to discover the huge injustices in the clothing industry. I continue to learn more about these and ways in which I can personally, and through Oppi, bring about some positive change.
I love to travel but my current adventure is learning how to be a mum! I am presently on maternity leave from a Bath architecture firm where I work as Brand and Communications Manager.
